CASE STUDY:

Background and Problem Context: 

As a personal project for IDOL Academy, this e-learning course was created to address the training needs of a fictional company, Cloudworth. Employees within Cloudworth have expressed their concerns about the lack of positive relationships between managers or leaders and themselves. This issue has resulted in ineffective communication, impacting decision-making processes and hindering the alignment of objectives.


Solution

Among the range of solutions provided, one of them includes an e-learning course called "Leading with Emotional Intelligence" specifically tailored for employees in leadership positions. The course aims to introduce the key components of Emotional Intelligence while equipping leaders with practical strategies to enhance each component. Additionally, the course incorporates assessment opportunities to ensure participants remain accountable for their learning progress.


Results

The introductory course on Leading with Emotional Intelligence prompted leaders to exhibit a heightened eagerness to enhance their emotional intelligence and pursue further learning on this topic. In response to this demand, we will design a follow-up course. This introductory course has fostered leaders' increased awareness of the influence their emotional intelligence holds over the overall efficiency and direction of the company.
